About Us
| Ioka Farms was founded in 1877. David Doerfler began farming with his father Alexander in the mid 1950’s. In the late 1960’s David’s sister & brother- in- law, Shirley & John Duerst joined the operation. Over the last 133 years the farm has continued to grow & is currently being operated by three generations. Ioka Farms produces many different kinds of turf grass seed, as well as grains, specialty forage seeds, and meadowfoam seed. We have been processing & packaging our seed as well as that of other local growers since 1977. Ioka Farms has also added a custom blending line that can fulfill all our customer’s needs. |
